Piapro Studio for V4X was released in conjunction to the VOCALOID4 update.
About[]
This version of the editor was first released with Megurine Luka's new software Megurine Luka V4X.
It used the VOCALOID4 API as its means of synthesising results, and as a result all vocals released for this engine also could work on VOCALOID4. The engine version would also load all previous VOCALOID2 and VOCALOID3 vocals that would work on Piapro Studio. Certain Crypton Future Media V4X packages also came with a version of PreSonus's digital audio workstation (DAW), software Studio One 3 or 4 Piapro Edition. This version of Studio One would work with Piapro Studio for V4X operating as a VST plugin. Repackaged rereleases of these products (released in July 2024) replaced the Studio One software with YAMAHA Corporation subsidiary Steinberg's DAW software Cubase LE, which later in August would be also bundled into the PIAPRO CHARACTERS SUPER PACK.
Piapro Studio encountered problems when VOCALOID5 was released. While this did not cause Piapro Studio to cease function, it resulted in Piapro Studio results having to be manually entered in VOCALOID5, rather than being input directly and with ease with VOCALOID4. All Japanese V4X range releases had the additional feature "E.V.E.C." included. It is this function specifically that encounters errors in VOCALOID5.
Hatsune Miku V4 Chinese was released with a "standalone" version of the software.

Version supplied with the physical release of Megurine Luka V4X; it added these features below:

- Support for "E.V.E.C." feature of "Megurine Luka V4X". (Please note, though, that the function was limited to just Luka.)[2]
This version also upgraded the past Piapro Studio VOCALOID3 API that came with MEIKO V3, Hatsune Miku V3 and KAITO V3 to the VOCALOID4 API Piapro Studio version.[Note 2] This means they can use Pitch Rendering, XSY, and Pitch Snap Mode, along with all the other functions of VOCALOID4 (excluding the Growl function).
Version included with the digital release of Luka V4X; it included the following fixes:
- Fixed problem of undoing while editing vibrato parameter.
- Various bug fixes.
This was updated the same day Luka V4X was released to include the following fix:
- Optimized E.V.E.C. internal parameter.
This was again updated the same day to fix the problem of loading song file or .ppsf file created by Piapro Studio before version 2.0.0.
This updater fixed some bugs below.
- Fixed problem of resetting custom lyric symbol unexpectedly.
- Fixed problem on quitting under certain host DAW environment.
The full Windows installers of this version are supplied with the free trial voicebanks MEIKO V3 Power DEMO (SONICWIRE product ID: 96145) and Megurine Luka V4X HARD Demo (ID: 98200).

- Fixed a problem of playback time lag with tracks using second or subsequent output channels.
- Fixed a problem of playback time lag with SONAR.
- Fixed a problem of adding unexpected character code when cutting a note with English lyrics by the knife tool.
- Fixed a problem of a crash while loading Piapro Studio with Digital Performer 8.

This is the final updater version supporting 32-bit Windows. It is also the first version to support MacOS X version 10.12 Sierra, as prior updaters did not function correctly on macOS Sierra environments.[16]
Version supplied specifically with the free trials Hatsune Miku V4X ORIGINAL Demo (SONICWIRE ID: A2229) and Hatsune Miku V4 English Demo (A4080) on Windows.
This was exclusively for the Mac version. It fixed the scanning error of AudioUnit (on GarageBand / Logic Pro X) under macOS 10.13 High Sierra.[18]
This version of the VSTi/AU plugin was installed on Windows by the Piapro Studio standalone editor version 1.0.1.5 (2.9.0.19) that was included with the digital version of Hatsune Miku V4 Chinese sold through SONICWIRE since early 2019. No further documentation about it is known, and the only updater bearing this version number was issued exclusively for Mac (see the entry below).
This is the final installer version (and the overall final version) supporting 32-bit Windows.

This is the final stable version supporting macOS 10.13 High Sierra and earlier, and the final version overall supporting MacOS X 10.10 Yosemite or earlier.
Beginning with this update, only the 64-bit Windows version of the software will be supported, and the Mac version of the software would only support MacOS X version 10.11 El Capitan or later. This update includes the following:

Due to a critical bug reported in version 2.0.5, this update was suspended. Windows users were advised to roll back to 2.0.4.3 by downloading the "Piapro Studio VSTi / AU v2.0.4.3 (Win) Installer for a rollback", uninstalling Piapro Studio, installing the supplied 2.0.4.1 installer, and then running the 2.0.4.3 updater; Mac users were advised to roll back to 2.0.4.17 by downloading and running "Piapro Studio VSTi / AU v2.0.4.17 (Mac) Installer for a rollback".[23]
Fixed the fatal bug reported in 2.0.5; however, it was withdrawn without specifying a reason, with all mentions of it redirecting instead to Vers. 2.0.5.4.
