Piapro Studio is a software snthiser create by Crypton Future Media, Inc.

About

Piapro Studio was created to allow the developers to expand their VOCALOID characters in new directions that VOCALOID limited within its software. It was originally sold as an alternative to supplying the full VOCALOID software and was first released with Kaito and the "KAITO V3" software.

As of August 31st, 2019, the software has departed from using VOCALOID and will become its own independent software.

Piapro Studio with Meiko V3 loaded

Piapro Studio was first released with KAITO V3. It was originally supplied as an alternative to VOCALOID3 and allowed the use of KAITOs voicebanks without the need to own VOCALOID3 in addition to the release of his software.

It used the VOCALOID3 API as its means of synthesising results.

Initally it was released only for the Crypton Future Media Vocaloids, but was later updated to allow all Vocaloids to enter Piapro Studio.

Piapro Studio 2

Piapro Studio 2, as seen with Megurine Luka V4x

Piapro Studio 2 was released in conjunction to the VOCALOID4 update. It was first released with Megurine Luka V4x.

It used the VOCALOID4 API as its means of synthesising results.

Piapro Studio encountered problems when VOCALOID5 was released. While this did not cause Piapro Studio to cease function, it resulted in Piapro Studio results having to be manually entered in VOCALOID5, rather then being in-putting directly and with ease with VOCALOID4.

All Japanese voicebank releases had the additional feature "E.V.E.C." included. Hatsune Miku was released with a "Stand alone" version of the software

Updates

• supports VOCALOID4 voicebanks. This version was supplied with Megurine Luka V4X.
• This version added E.V.E.C., though the function was limited to just Luka.
• The version also upgraded past Piapro Studio VOCALOID3 API that came with MEIKO V3, Hatsune Miku V3 and KAITO V3 to the VOCALOID4 API Piapro Studio version. They means they can use Pitch Rendering, XSY, Pitch Snap Mode, along with all the other functions of VOCALOID4.

Vers.2.0.4.7; This was exclusively for the Mac version. It fixed the scanning error of AudioUnit (on GarageBand / Logic Pro X) under macOS 10.13 High Sierra.

Piapro Studio Standalone

The Standalone version was intended to replace the other versions of Piapro Studio and would be released for each Vocal package. To date, the other Vocaloid vocals have not been released with their own versions.
